Recently I found myself in a bind: the Mac App Store app on my Retina MacBook would launch, but would not show me anything except a little spinning circle near the top-left corner. I left it like that overnight and when I came back the next morning it was still spinning. Fixing it was tricky. Choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled) for any disk you plan to use with Time Machine or as a bootable installer. Will you be using the disk with another Mac? If the other Mac isn't using High Sierra or later, choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Earlier versions of macOS don't mount APFS-formatted volumes. Patience may be a virtue, but in the case of Mac OS X's dreaded spinning pinwheel process indicator, even the most tranquil users can find themselves more than a tad anxious for the standard arrow. Install is simple:
1. Make sure Porting Kit is installed before install.
2. Get Spintires (=steam serial) if you don’t own the game yet.
3. Install the Windows Steam when you own Crossover using the Crosstie here… Or when using Porting Kit using the install button on the Porting Kit page or search the game in Porting Kit on the library –> server tab and click install.
4. Then login into steam, activate the serial and download and play the game! Yep, thats it! Have fun!
