But in Akiba's Trip The Animation, it's more on the anime culture in Akiba. They also joke around with cliches in anime. Both are anime made for otakus. You'll see a lot of meta references from the otaku culture or other popular anime that only the more knowledged fans can enjoy. They like to have fun, they often don't take themselves seriously, but those are part of these anime's appeals. Don't let the first glance fool you. No, Akiba's Trip is not just some trashy fanservice ecchi (by the way Akiba's trip fanservice tones down after the first one or two episodes), and Animegataris isn't just some generic high school club 'fanservice' anime like that one review says. They're both enjoyable anime full of meta references that passionate anime fans can enjoy. |
Punch Linepermalink report Recommended by iRemorse Stripping Gets more power.. While this it isn't.. but more weird delusional fantasy fetishes. Hair changes Get excited while seeing something so indecent. |
Uraharapermalink Urahara is pretty much Akiba's Trip but in Harajuku instead of Akihibara. Where Akiba's Strip focuses around otaku culture, Urahara focuses on fashion. |
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!permalink Both are very enteratining comedy anime, which are kinda similar. Konosuba features a group of people in a rpg game world completing quests, and akiba's trip features a group of people trying to protect a shopping town, from creatures who posess people, who are defeated when all their clothes are stipped off (weird concept lmao). Both feature an over the top male protagonist, and a group of female characters that work alongside them. The akiba trip anime is based on a game, but i didnt play the video game, and really enjoyed it. |
Highschool of the Deadpermalink They are both ecchi anime where the main characters have to fight off zombie-like creatures |
To LOVE-Ru Darkness 2ndpermalink My boy if you like ecchi's totally nonsense, this anime was made for you, just watch it, no more, JUST WATCH IT!! Kek. |
Kenzen Robo Daimidalerpermalink The shows aren't that similar in plot or anything, but I think they both do a great job of parodying different anime tropes. |
High School DxDpermalink both main characters have the power to strip people |
Sore ga Seiyuu!permalink * Same studio * Same director * Same female trio MC seiyuus/OP singers (Earphones, consisting of Rie Takahashi, Yuki Nagaku, and Marika Kouno) * Both EDs usually vary on the music every episode * Both contain outside references that most otakus can appreciate in every episode |
Seizei Ganbare! Mahou Shoujo Kurumipermalink Both are comedy/parody shows. Akiba's Trip parodies various otaku hobbies while Kurumi parodies mahou shoujo. |
Mekakucity Actorspermalink - Weird but interesting characters - Kind of paranormal things in both shows - Similar artstyle and animation |
Hacka Doll The Animationpermalink Both have slapstick comedy and silly random plots. |
Occultic;Ninepermalink - The Mc is a NEET - There are paranormal events occuring without most people knowing - In both shows the MC is (you know what if you saw o;9) |
Abenobashi Mahou☆Shoutengaipermalink both parody, anime parody, ecchi, boy-girl couple, one scene: distcrict jokes and parodies of the time when the anime have been aired |
Keijo!!!!!!!!permalink Both shows take their premise and deliver an over the top journey, all while referencing tons of other anime, games, people, etc. They both also do good job incorporating fanservice and building a story around their fanservice deliver device. |
Kill la Killpermalink The series have similar artstyles (although Akiba's Trip is lower quality but still fine), both involve fights in which clothes play an important role, both deal with nudity although in unusual way despite being tagged as ecchi (due to the unusual artstyle), even the main antagonists have some things in common. Both shows are really enjoyable so if you liked one you might like the other. |
Robot Girls Zpermalink Same brand of comedy and ecchi. Both series feature girls that get beat up and stripped. Sometimes simultaneously. |
